The short version
- No cookies, no advertising scripts, no social media widgets.
- Visits are counted with Cloudflare Web Analytics, which sets no cookies and does not track you across sites.
- The planner and calculators run in your browser; nothing you enter is sent to us.
- When you click a partner link, we count the click (which link, which page) without storing your IP address.
What the hosting records
The site is served by Cloudflare Pages. Cloudflare processes technical data (such as your IP address and browser type) to deliver the pages and protect them from abuse, under Cloudflare’s privacy policy.
Visit statistics
We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count page views and see which pages are read. It runs without cookies or local storage and does not build a profile of you. Cloudflare processes the request data to produce aggregate counts.
Partner links
Links that start with /go/ send you to a booking site. We record the link name, the page you came from and the time. The booking site then applies its own privacy policy and cookies, which you will see on that site.
Map
The map page loads map tiles from OpenStreetMap’s tile servers, which receive your IP address like any web request. See the OpenStreetMap Foundation privacy policy.
Contact form
Messages you send through the contact form are stored with the time, the country your request came from (not your IP address) and whatever you typed, including an email address if you give one for a reply. Each message is also sent by email to the editor so it can be answered. Stored messages are deleted automatically after 180 days; nothing is shared or used for marketing.
